2009-2010 Automobile Insurance  (Safety)

Thank you for renewing your 2009 Automobile Insurance with Gilmore & Skole Ins. and Safety.  Along with competitive rating, Safety offers the following discounts and options.  If you were receiving a discount last year, you may need to reapply for it again this year.  Please review the following and submit the appropriate paperwork to continue with any eligible discount, or call us to add any of the optional endorsements.

 DISCOUNTS/CREDITS

 ·          Good Student: 10% discount for inexperienced operator on the Honor Roll or Dean’s List. Need most recent grade report to add the discount each year

·          Student Away at School: 10% discount if the student attends school over 100 miles away from home and does not take a vehicle with them. Need proof of school they are attending each year.

·          Loyalty Credit: Up to 8% credit for your loyalty to Safety and our Agency (this is automatically applied)

·          Account Credit: 10% credit on auto policy and 20% credit on home, renters or condominium policy if Safety provides coverage for both policies (this is automatically applied)

·          Low Mileage Credit:  Eligible if you drive your vehicle less than 7,500 miles per year.  Application needs to be completed and returned each year.

·          In-Control Advanced Driver Training: If you have a policy with Safety, you can participate in this program for only $75.00 (normally $299.00) and receive a 5% Group Discount off your insurance premium.  Copy of the certificate of course completion is needed for this discount

·          Hybrid Vehicle Discount; 10% discount applies to all Hybrid vehicles

OPTIONAL ENDORSEMENTS

 ·          GAP:  $25.00 per year for Auto Loan/Lease Gap Coverage.  In the event of a covered total loss to your auto, Safety will pay any unpaid amount due on the lease or loan.

·          SAFETY SHIELD:  $25.00 per year for this broad coverage enhancement featuring the following:  Disappearing Collision Deductible; Guaranteed Replacement Cost; Extended Substitute Transportation; Supplemental Towing & Labor; Emergency Road Travel Expenses; Rental Vehicle Loss of Income; Personal Effects Coverage; Air Bag Coverage for accidental deployment.

 PAYMENT OPTIONS

 ·          Online Bill Pay:  You can make payments on line at InsureAnswer.com

·          Safety Advantage Program: Payments can be automatically withdrawn direct from your checking account.  There are no finance charges, no checks to write, no postage, no down payments on renewals

·          Combined Bill:  All Safety policies combined on one monthly statement.  Must include at least one auto and one home policy.  The E-Customer option is available if you choose combined billing.  This is an eco-friendly electronic policy issuance designed to eliminate paper and provides a 1% discount on each policy, each year.

Thank you for renewing your 2010 Auto Insurance with Gilmore & Skole Ins. and Plymouth Rock.  Your policy and bill are mailed to you direct from the company.  Along with competitive rating, Plymouth Rock offers the following discounts and enhancements.  If you were receiving a discount last year, you may need to reapply for it again this year.  Please review the following and submit appropriate paperwork, or call us if you have questions on any of the policy enhancements.

 DISCOUNTS/CREDITS

 ·          Good Student: 10% or 15% discount for qualified inexperienced operator on the Honor Roll or Dean’s List. Need most recent grade report to add the discount each year on renewal.

·          Student Away at School: 5-15% discount if the student attends school over 100 miles away from home and does not take a vehicle with them. Need proof of school they are attending each year.  

·          Loyalty Credit: Credit for renewing with Plymouth Rock (this is automatically applied).

·          Companion Policy Credit: 5% credit on auto policy and 15% credit on home policy if your home is insured with Bunker Hill (this is automatically applied).

·          Low Mileage Credit:  Eligible if you drive your vehicle less than 7,500 miles per year.  Plymouth Rock automatically applies the credit on renewal, however, if you think you are eligible and you do not see the credit listed on your policy, complete the low mileage application and return it to our office.

·          Motor Club Membership:  A possible credit is available if you are a member of an approved motor club (AAA, among others).  We need a copy of your membership card and you are required to be a member of the motor club for at least 60 days prior to the policy effective date.

·          Advanced Driver Training:  5% discount for inexperienced operators who successfully complete an Advanced Driver Training program approved by the RMV. Certificate of course completion is required.

·          SBLI:  If you have an SBLI Life Insurance Policy, Plymouth Rock offers a 9% group discount on your auto policy.  Call us for more details.    

ENHANCEMENTS

·          Deductible Dollars:  Provided at no additional cost.  The amount of your deductible dollar credit is shown on your policy.  This credit can be applied to any future collision or limited collision claim where a deductible would normally apply.  Full details are included on the endorsement.

·          Accident Forgiveness:  Provided at no additional cost for eligible policies.  Plymouth Rock will waive the first accident related surcharge assessed to a driver.  Full details are included on the endorsement. 

·          Actual Replacement Cost: Provided at no additional cost, this endorsement replaces a new vehicle within the first 12 months or 15,000 miles of purchase or lease in the event of a total loss.

·          MYLES:  “Make Your Life Easier” program.  Register online at www.prac.com and you can have access to your policy and billing information, make online payments, elect to receive email reminders for your vehicle registrations, drivers license renewals and safety inspection stickers.  They also offer savings on many auto related products.

Agency Recommendations:

Our agency still recommends a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 on Part 3, 5, and 12 and $100,000 on Part 4. Higher limits are available.

Buying a Car? Please call us. Coverage cannot be bound until we hear from you.

Own a Pickup or Van? Caps, bedliners, special tires, etc. are not covered unless these items are specifically added.

Vehicle Loan Paid? If yes, please notify us if your lienholder is still listed on your policy.

Do You Need A Rental? Part 10 pays (regardless of who is at fault) for a rental vehicle when your vehicle is not driveable or in the repair shop as a result of an accident.

Discounts are available as follows:

Low Mileage - Annual miles driven is 7,500 or less.

Anti-Theft Device - Credit off Part 9 only. An application identifying the type of device is required and the discount varies accordingly.

Air Bag or Automatic Seatbelts - This credit, called "Passive Restraint Discount" is usually added automatically by the company, if your vehicle qualifies.

Multi-Car Discount - Credit off Part 7 or 8 only. To be eligible, you must have 2 or more vehicles covered by collision and no inexperienced operators.
